Rex,
I remember the 1995 game at erector set field. They were doing the same. Throwing dog biscuits at us on the sidelines. The winner that day would go to a bowl the loser would go 5-6. We won of course. It wasn't easy. After the game I riding back to Athens on the team bus, I thought to myself if I were to die I would die happy knowing we squashed those bugs once again! PISS ON TECH!

I hope that fans and players alike will show some respect for each other at this and future games. We seem to have lost respect for others, and not just in sports, but the worst always seem to be exhibited at sporting events, even killings at world soccer matches! Perhaps this is a reflection of how people feel about themselves, or just were not brought up properly at home, a big problem today. It always seems that the worst offenders never attended the school they cheer for , and constantly are the ones causing the most trouble at games. Let's all be civil at this game, I was listening to Sirius radio 122 , the college football show, going to work last week. A caller said he was from Ohio State, and he wanted to praise the Michigan fans for being so decent at the game, I was astonished that a "hate" game like this or Ga. /Ga.Tech - some schools show their upbringing, maybe that's why schools like Michigan have such a great academic reputation, it's rated way above both Ga., Ohio State, and /Tech, it makes one proud to be associated with such a fine institution. I hope Ga. students and fans act the part. At #57 academic rating in the country , we are just behind Florida at #53, but probably will never catch Michigan's academics in my life time, but perhaps we can act like we are already there, and the rest will follow. Enjoy the game my fellow bulldogs, and make the school proud, win or lose. May the best team win.
