News From Ill-Gotten Gainesville

I case you have not heard, Urban “Don’t call Me Corch Meyers” Meyer has decided to take another run at leisure. He was supposed to start said leave after signing day, but he just didn’t have the heart. I’m also sure it skipped a beat when he heard that his DT Gary Brown had been arrested for  slapping several women at a party over the weekend.

Meyer is to take this time between now and spring football, which is set to start at UF on March 17th, as his much publicized but never realized leave of absense. It would be interesting to see if Las Vegas has a line on how long this attempt will last. His prior foray into relaxation lasted only a “miserable” 36 hours.

Well, he was reportedly seen in Atlanta over the weekend (working out on the treadmills with daughter Nicki at GT)

Tell you what, I,m not thinkin gator bator,or orange sour, but what a difference a few months make. I feel like Georgia ball teams are going to be bustin loose over the next few years! I mean football, baseball, and basketball. It will be exciting again to be BULLDOG TOUGH! And our new basketball coach, yeah, a big change is comin, big time. Just the fact that Dwayne Polee, 6’6″” small forward from California, who backed out of U.S.C. when he heard of the sanction coming down, this guy is like spider man, rocket man, and superman all in one, and he is at Georgia on an official visit, wow. I feel we are getting ready to move off base, and get it on , to the next level, with the elite boys, wouldn’t that be great, we have been sitting pat for years as just competitive, we should be at the top for a change. We just need to start recruiting , especially in football, and getting the best players in state, every year, like an Ohio State or a Michigan gets theirs. We need to get moving on the 2011 class, cause we only got 3 of the top ten in the state this class, and one even rejected our offer to play at Central Florida?, we need to create an awsome atmosphere , where the top guys want to play at Georgia first, and not even think about a second choice. Hopefully our coaching staff can take these guys and produce GREAT PLAYERS, WITH SOUND FUNDAMENTALS, AND A WINNING ATTITUDE, THAT LEAVES IT ALL ON THE FIELD EVERY WEEK. GO BULLDOGS!
